In late January, Proof, a company specialized in the production of previsualization for the movie business hired Motience to supervise the visual effects shooting of  two Black Eyed Peas videos for the songs "Imma Be" and "Rock that body".  The main task for Proof and Motience was to integrate two futuristic robots involved in a pursuit and a dance battle..  The director, Rich Lee, from the production company, D.N.A., choose two locations for the shoot, the first was at an aircraft junkyard an hour drive from Los Angeles near Palmdale; the second, the backlot of Paramount studios in Hollywood.
Back at Proof's studio near downtown Los Angeles, Motience helped proof animators by recreating virtual 3D mock-ups of the  different sets. Having these assets facilitated greatly the work of Proof animators. Motience also provided 3D camera tracking for complex sequences.
The animated cg robots were animated and rendered in Autodesk Softimage. Compositing was produced in Adobe After Effects. In all, more than 200 visual effects shots produced in less than 3 weeks with less than a dozen artists.
